Black lid-absorbs all wavelengths of light and converts them into heat, so the Temperature increases more than the white lid.
White lid - reflects all wavelengths of light, so the light is not converted into heat and the temperature does not increase noticeably
Grey-is still light but darker than white so the temperature would increase more than the white lid but less than the black lid
