D. Becket was murdered in Canterbury Cathedral. Becket was born in London to a merchant father. He was very clever and intelligent. He became the agent of Archbishop and assigned duties to Rome. He later became a friend of Henry the king, who made him archbishop later. But when the king became hostile he was murdered in the Canterbury Cathedral by king's men.
