No the car is not accelerating because it is going at a constant speed.This is a trick question because human nature urges us to imagine the activity taking place.  Our perception will be acceleration due to the inertial forces being applied in the original direction of travel as the car turns.In reality the car is moving at a constant speed, and the physical forces related to direction change are applied and absorbed at the same time.
