Fundamental attribution error, also known as observer/actor bias is when you attribute others’ behaviour to their personality and who they are and your own to external circumstances. (Ex. My classmate failed the test because she’s lazy and didn’t study hard but I failed because this university is very difficult.) Ligiea is attributing her results to external circumstances.
