Act calm, and don't over think the conflict unless it's really bad (cheating). Try to get your differences together, without war/violence. Or "proving who is better/has a better argument".

Approach it respectfully with a chill tone. Don’t over do it, don’t rage up. Breathe. Listen to the other person, don’t raise your voice.
