The literal information is like when the protagonist says his brother has mentual issues. Interpretive, is like you know the protagonist's name is Deo because his friends, family call his that. Interpretive... you need to be able to tell because of the info giving--it is not directly given information. And the one example that has hit me as such was Innocent's death.
