I only have to answer 2 of these questions, please help! I'm begging! I'm really desperate please!! I'm already failing my class and I won't graduate, please!!

1. Why is the end of the Cold War tied to the American domestic economy during this time?

2. Describe the Reagan Doctrine in your own words. How did it help shape the United States during this time period?

3. Why did the Soviet Union have to change its economic polices? How did this lead to the end of the Cold War?

4. What specific impact did immigration have on American society during this time? How does this compare and contrast to immigration today?

Respuesta :

Basically, Reagan and his economic plans made it possible for companies to flourish and also this meant that the economy was developing and people had money. Opposite to this, the Soviets were starving because of things like high corruption and heavy regulation. Many countries that were part of the Soviet Union wanted to separate and become independent and adopt the Capitalism system as seen in the US. The Soviets responded by opening up a bit but it was insufficient. Immigration was heavy because there were a lot of people who went there willing to work because their countries of origin were poor. It's different because immigration is nowadays mostly not from Europe like it was at that time.
