X(cm) = m(0.5) + m(1.5) + m(2.5) + m(4.5) / 4m

X(cm) = m(0.5 + 1.5 + 2.5 + 4.5) / (4) m

[m will be cancelled out]

X(cm) = 9 / 4 = 2.25 which is point C

Therefore, the center of mass is 2.25 which is point C.
