one way is to do a ratio and proprtion

like 600/3000=x/100
you solve and get
20=x so 20%
an easier way is this

600/3000=0.2/1=2/10=20/100=20%
those are 2 wys to do it
You would do 600 times 3000 but there would be a decimal
