A series circuit contains four resistors, two 1 ohm resistors and two 2 ohm resistors. If you
need 2 Amps to flow through the circuit for the resistors to function properly then what
voltage must the battery be?

Please show work if possible!

V=IR

= 2 x 6

= 12V

Resistors in series add together:

(2ohms x 2) + (1ohms x 2)

4 + 2 = 6 ohms
