Start at 16 and then subtract 9.8 times the number of minutes:

Depth = 16 - 9.8m

Now to find the depth after 90 minutes replace m with 90 and solve:

Depth = 16-9.8(90)

Depth = 16 - 882

Depth = -866 feet
