While Odyssey does lose men in many of the books, it is in "The Cattle of the Sun God" where the Greek Gods kill all of the remaining men. In this book, the men are so hungry they kill and eat the cattle of Helios, the sun god. This angered the gods; so, Zeus sent a bolt of lightning down that hit their boat. This ended in everyone's death except for Odyssey.
