Respuesta :

The Stamp Act was passed on March 22, 1765. The Stamp Act stated that all printed materials and legal documents must have a tax stamp provided by authorized distributors who would collect the tax in exchange for the stamp. Angered, colonists responded with protests and mobs, which led to parliament repealing the tax in March of 1766.
