for x = -1, 3(-1) - 5y = 9 => -3 - 5y = 9 => 5y = -3 - 9 = -12 => y = -12/5 = -2.4
for x = 0, 3(0) - 5y = 9 => -5y = 9 => y = 9/-5 = -1.8
for x = 1, 3(1) - 5y = 9 => 3 - 5y = 9 => 5y = 3 - 9 = -6 => y = -6/5 = -1.2
