Witch Hunts are ongoing today in America. Not in the same way that they used, usually people don't go around and rip women from their homes and burn them on a stake anymore, but witch hunt is a "hunt" directed to a person, or group of people, that hold different (usually unpopular) views.

This can be exampled by people going after someone of a different religion (such as men ripping off the Hijab off of a Muslim woman) or of a different race (such as someone going after their Asian neighbor(s) because of some of their cultural views)

In my opinion we can put an end to them by learning how to accept others for who they are, and learning that because someone is part of a different religion, that doesn't automatically make them a bad person (even if they are part of a religion that people immediately associate with bad things)

Outside of America though, people do still actively burn people at the stake (so to speak) for being Witches.
