Our theories and hypotheses regarding space and time have changed dramatically in the last few centuries. It was once thought that the Sun, other planets, and stars circle around Earth, but we now know that the Earth circles around the Sun. In addition, our solar system is just one tiny part of the Milky Way galaxy, which in turn is just one galaxy among billions of others that make up the universe.
