60 POINTS: WILL MARK BRAINLIEST!! ASAP!
Identify the metaphor in the following excerpt:
ROMEO
If I profane with my unworthiest hand This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this: My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.
JULIET
Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much, Which mannerly devotion shows in this; For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch, And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.

A: My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand
B: If I profane with my unworthiest hand
C: Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much,
D: Which mannerly devotion shows in this;
tbh the reason this is 60 points is I have wayyy to many points, I want to burn some. :)
Thanks for the help!

Respuesta :

A metaphor compares two things without using the word LIKE or AS. The BEST answer would be (A) because the author is comparing her lips to blushing pilgrims, and she doesn't use the word like or as.

Hope this helps :)
