It basically means to please someone. "Appeasement, the policy of making concessions to the dictatorial powers in order to avoid conflict"
To appease is to calm or please to the point of satisfaction.
If I am good at Appeasement, then I am good at calming and or pleasing perhaps an angry child with a doll.
