What force is required to accelerate a 2390 kg car from 7.51 m/s to 29 m/s, in a time of 3.08 s? Hint: Find the acceleration first.

acceleration =  (terminal velocity -initial velocity) / time

so

we need  

a = 29-7.51 / 3.08= 21.49 / 3.08 = 6.977

then we need to know how much force we need

so use F = ma

F : force m : mass a : acceleration

thus

f = 6.977 *  2390  = 16675.03 N
