How did the inventors keep the barrel of the machine gun from melting? A They were made from a different kind of steel B They didn't, the guns melted all the time C The were either air cooled or water cooled D The would stop shooting if they got too hot.

The machine guns were introduced in the 1800s so when the investors tested out the machine guns and it got hot they cooled it off with some sort of water filled jacket or else the gun would be shattered hoped it helped
