The study of sychology changed when APS was formed in 1988, many disciplines within the field have flourished and expanded. Scence then the entire sub-disciplines, areas of research, and methodologies have sprung up during that time. Then it has involved the full range of disciplines, from the broadest cultural aspects of social science to the most molecular aspects of genetics, ushering in a new era of integrative science.
